Recruiter – Full time (1 year contract)

Location: Burlington, ON (home-based office). Occasional in-person meetings will be required, contingent on Covid-19 restrictions.

Lifemark is seeking an enthusiastic, creative, and social-media savvy Recruiter to support our network of rehabilitation clinics across Canada. In this junior role you will focus on building sustainable talent strategies & transforming talent acquisition. You will be relied upon to contribute towards the development of robust talent pools, create positive relationships with candidates, hiring managers, executives, and other colleagues. This is accomplished by being personable, friendly, and most importantly by showing pride in being a Lifemark team member. This role takes having patience, a great sense of humor, persistence, and the strong desire to achieve successful recruitment outcomes. Your 1-3 years of experience as a recruiter, growing knowledge of recruitment best practices, along with a familiarity of applicant tracking systems will allow for great success in this position. Excellent communication is a must; an understanding of the professions of physiotherapy, massage therapy, occupational therapy, and other physical and mental health rehabilitation services is a very strong asset.

A few other typical role accountabilities include: 

  • Reporting, metrics, & recruitment analytics
  • Telephone screenings, video and in-person interviews
  • Direct sourcing of competitor talent
  • The creation & advertisement of original, attractive job postings on internal and external job boards & niche sites
  • Contribute to talent marketing campaigns including mail outs, email blasts, internal newsletters
  • Attendance at career fairs and trade shows
