Our commitment to consistent, outstanding customer service has been the hallmark of our success, and it’s why we continue to grow and expand our services.  Our Mississauga East team is currently in search of a new Operations Manager – someone eager to make an impact, drive results, and be part of a team with a true family feel.  That’s where you come in.  As our new Operations Manager, you will manage the day-to-day operations of the company, with a critical focus on safety, productivity, quality, and achieving budget. Your goal will be to align our people, equipment, and materials, to ensure a seamless operational flow, while driving quality and customer satisfaction. This will be an office-based and management focused position and will not require you to work in the field.   Practically speaking, your responsibilities will include:  * Oversight of field supervisors, in their day-to-day management of scheduling, staffing, staff onboarding, productivity, site planning, safety meetings, training, equipment requirements, inventory of materials, uniforms and PPE * Overseeing quoting of jobs for our construction division, and assisting crew leaders in planning and completing jobs on time and budget * Directing winter snow removal activities, including storm planning, staffing, schedules, and customer communication * Directing and overseeing the work of the mechanics, overseeing fleet preventative maintenance to ensure equipment is safe to use, with little downtime in the field * Management of the health and safety committee* Building trusted relationships with customers and suppliers * Leading the weekly management meeting, reviewing company operations and short and long-term planning to ensure financial and operational goals are met * Recording and analyzing productivity data, and reporting to the company owner  Your work will ensure that the multiple sides of our business are working in tandem in pursuit of our goals, and that our team has a shared sense of purpose, achievement, and focus.  You’ll love this role because it will allow you to draw upon your forward-thinking and analytical nature. You’ll need to be comfortable reviewing and reporting data and information, and will enjoy the opportunity to interpret the numbers, understand the issues or opportunities they present, and then come up with a plan to initiate and drive positive results.  Working With Us   This is a full-time, permanent role working out of our Mississauga office, located near Courtney Park and Dixie Rd. This is a year-round position managing services that are at the mercy of mother nature and so the hours and days of work can vary.  In summer we work four days per week, and in winter we work 24/7 with three shifts operating. Clintar is invested in its people. Our team is supportive, caring, and driven to do things right.  In addition to a competitive annual salary (starting at $75,000) and potential bonus structure, you’ll enjoy comprehensive benefits, company vehicle and smart phone, and plenty of opportunities for learning and professional development.  Qualifications * Experience (5+ years) managing a 30-50+ person operation in a related industry – landscaping, snow removal, construction, etc. * Winter snow removal maintenance experience is required * Experience with MS Suite and LMN software * Experience reporting and analyzing productivity data * University or college degree in a relevant field is preferred (e.g., horticulture, management)* Any relevant professional certifications or licences would be an asset (e.g., pesticide, health and safety, management)* Clean driver’s license  How to Apply Our online application will give you the option to apply to this role as a complete person – not just a resume.
