Learn more about Pathways to Independence and how you can help people to live their best lives by visiting our website: ( Manager, Quality Assurance/Risk Management & Accreditation leads the process, develops, coordinates and maintains data and dashboards for Quality Assurance & Risk Management with multiple stakeholders in the agency. The Manager also leads the Accreditation (CARF) process including overseeing the implementation of stakeholder input processes, stakeholder education, and ensuring policy, procedural and related, required documentation is created or updated as required to meet CARF standards. The Manager applies process improvement, project management, communications and change leadership expertise to agency wide process improvements, planning processes, change initiatives and will support other related projects or responsibilities as required.Qualifications: * Post-secondary degree or diploma from an accredited College or University in Business Administration, Quality Management, Organizational Development or a related field.* Specialized education in Quality and Process Improvement, Risk Management, Change Leadership, Communications, Project Management required.* Experience working in a unionized environment.* 3-5 years of related experience to the specified duties and responsibilities.Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Quality Assurance & Risk Management* In conjunction with the Senior Management and Department Leads’ teams, compiles and updates QA and RM quarterly and annual data, and dashboards.* Updates related agency plans as required for presentation at monthly and quarterly meetings.* Develops and maintains subject matter expertise on Quality Assurance and Risk Management systems and processes.* Continuously improves the QA/RM process based on best demonstrated practices.* Coordinates and prepares the quarterly presentation for the QA/RM Committee, including follow up with data owners to understand/clarify outcome presentation.* Develops training and supports to data owners in regards to outcomes, indicators, data collection presentation.* Develops communication tools in a variety of formats to ensure all stakeholders are informed of Pathways QA/RM processes, results, and actions. * Assists in the identification of trends, risk mitigation strategies, data outcomes, and works collaboratively to facilitate process improvements as required.CARF Accreditation* Coordinates the annual updating of Pathways policies and process changes required to meet CARF standards, process changes are identified and documentation is updated.* Leads the client and employee satisfaction survey in conjunction with CARF accredited survey provider.* Reviews and consolidates reports with the CHROE for presentation to Management and Employees.* Facilitates action planning sessions with managers and employees to identify solutions to potential issues.* Updates the Annual Management Report and other related agency communication and plans to meet or exceed CARF standards.* Ensures Quality Improvement Plans received from CARF surveys are implemented and completed.* Develops and maintains subject matter expertise on accreditation and regulatory requirements.* Updates Annual Conformance to Quality documentation and ensures it is submitted to CARF International in a timely fashion.* Updates change notifications to CARF International as required.* Coordinates the CARF survey process every three years or as required.Change & Project Leadership* Apply change management processes and tools to create strategies to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative.* Support the design, development, delivery and management of communications to support initiatives using a variety of digital and print media.* Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of training programs.* Apply project management principles, tools and strategies to ensure initiatives are completed successfully, within scope, time and budget parameters.* Supports the strategic and operational planning processes of the agency.* Develops and updates communications portals- such as Sharepoint, Pathways website, social media platforms, Work Force Now as required.* Collaborates with other stakeholders to transition policies and procedures to Sharepoint or other data management systems as required.Ideal candidates will also have skills and abilities which include:* Superior written and verbal communication skills.* Strong research and data analysis.* Excellent computer skills (excel, databases) ability to generate reports, analyze data, and present trends and recommendations to management.* Ability to extract and interpret data to inform decision making.* High degree of tact and diplomacy and ability to maintain confidentiality.* Ability to solve problems and make decisions independently.* Highly organized with effective time and project management skills.* Effective collaborative leadership and team building skills.* Ability to utilize a variety of software programs to create multi-media & digital training, communications and marketing materials.*
