Director- Workforce Planning & Analytics

This is a Full-time position in Toronto, ON posted August 21, 2020.

Summary Reporting to the Senior Director of Workforce Strategy Operations to support the development and implementation of global workforce strategies and programs that support business objectives and strategies.

The leader would collaborate across the organization to develop workforce forecasting and capacity planning, and analyze internalexternal talent variables with various business units.

This position will contribute to workforce planning activities by providing analytical expertise to improve decision making through the use of advanced workforce planning techniques and tools.

Activities bull Lead complex analyses to forecast workforce needs and requirements that will contribute to the development of long-term talent strategies bull Gather, analyze, and share internal and external data to identify economic trends, demographic shifts, and capabilities that will impact the demand and supply of talent bull Apply advanced workforce planning techniques and tools (e.g., scenario modelingplanning, supply and demand forecasting, trend analysis, predictive modeling) to provide insight and recommendations on workforce plans bull Develop actionable metrics that provide insight into the current and future workforce, its productivity, and business impact.

bull Contribute to the evaluation of the effectiveness of strategic workforce planning activities by establishing and maintaining core metrics and relevant scorecardstracking tools bull Identify, recommend, and develop enhancements to workforce planning processes, methodologies, and tools bull Provide analytical expertise and support to other Global Talent Learning practices and processes (e.g., LD reskilling effectiveness, talent engagement practices) bull Proactively quantify issues and evaluate alternative scenarios related to our future talent demands bull Provide assessments of workforce trends, and the impact of strategic business decisions on the workforce bull Contribute to enterprise-wide talent strategy development by reviewing BUFunction plans to identify common themes across (e.g., shared needs, gaps, and solutions) bull Lead other strategic HR and Operations initiatives as requested Experience and skills required Required bull Degree within a quantitative discipline (e.g., statistics, finance, economics, data science, industrialorganizational psychology) Master’s degree strongly preferred bull 10 years of experience within the workforce andor business planning discipline, including direct experience with HCM metrics, benchmarking, data analysis, predictive modeling, headcount forecastingbudgeting bull Demonstrated expertise in creating and leveraging trend analyses and scenario models bull Experience with the development of long-term headcount forecasts based on multiple data sources (e.g., financial, HR) bull Expertise in creating a comprehensive workforce story by aggregating and analyzing data collected from various HR, Finance, and Business functionssystems bull Demonstrated use of large data sets and statistical software (e.g., python, SAS, R) to facilitate decision making bull Experience working with a forecasting software tool is a plus bull Experience communicating technical concepts and processes using clear, simple language and visuals bull Must be well organized, detail-oriented and flexible and have the ability to perform under high-pressure conditions.

bull Able to work flexible hours and be available after hours if needed for urgent matters and international conference calls bull Exemplary time management and prioritization skills able to juggle regular daily operational cadence, strategic projects and variety of ad hoc tasks, and able to change direction quickly bull Able to work well with all levels of internal management and staff across geographies Preferred bull Familiarity with IT Consulting and Business services industry, market and business trends bull Experience in a corporate office supporting senior executives bull Strong general business background including an MBA or other solid business foundation Home Office Any, Eastern and Central time zone preferred Travel 20
