Cascades: Process And Project Coordinator


This is a Full-time position in Trenton, ON posted February 6, 2021.

The challenge Our Trenton mill is looking for a Process and Project Coordinator to join its team.

Bring your knowledge and skills on!We are looking for an experienced and dynamic Individual who will work in conjunction with the Maintenance Project Coordinator and the Asset Owner to keep improving the performance of our Trenton plant operation.

Job responsibilities The main responsibilities of the Process and Project Coordinator are: Defines standard processes and tools to manage centerlines and accelerate RCO (Rapid Change Over)Helps to define daily plans, takes the lead on priority actions pertaining to processes, and systems, from action identification to completionEnsures the process is executed according to defined standards and continuously improves that process based on lessons learnedEvaluates the impact of centerline deviations on the equipment and product qualityManages improvements to equipment, process parameters, and centerlinesTrains / coaches the operators in best practices in terms of equipment centerlining and procedures to be followed in case of deviation.Supports the team in the implementation and continuous improvement of their respective Daily Management System (DMS) elementsShares best practices with the other Process and Project Coordinator.

Desired experience The Process and Project Coordinatormust have the following qualifications: Possess a Bachelor’s degree in chemical, mechanical engineering (or similar).Have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role in the manufacturing environment.Demonstrate positive leadership, have excellent communication and teamwork skills.Can manage various projects simultaneously.Have a good analytical mindset and demonstrated rigor with ability to synthesize.Is comfortable in a fast-paced environment.
