Marie, Ontario.

Reporting to our Ontario Regional Manager, the Branch Manager will provide sales, operations and service leadership to a team that includes sales and business development, service technicians along with warehouse and distribution personnel.

As the successful candidate, you will take charge of the branch P& L and contribute to the development and execution of our strategic plan and growth in the Sault Ste.

Marie region.

We’re looking for an entrepreneurial leader with field service industry background, someone who can drive growth and is looking for the opportunity to take on a challenging and rewarding role.Responsibilities:
·Financial and Business Management: Accountable for the branch P and L.

Proactive reviews of the financial statements in an effort to identify key drivers of the bottom line and analyzing the details in order to engage in improvement dialogues with team members in an effort to define time bound actions that will show quantifiable results.
·Strategic Thinking and Planning:Active participation with the Regional Manager in both the annual and long-term strategic planning process.

Translating the corporate strategic plan to the specifics of the local market and communicating the local vision to all team members so it is has meaning to their individual jobs; with the desired end result being a comprehensive local plan that defines opportunities and recommendations that maximize sales, increase margins, optimize asset utilization (inventory, AR and fixed assets) and expand market share.
·Leadership: Being Visible, collaborative and inspiring and building trust to translate our strategy into success.

Driving team and individual goals and holding the team accountable.

Engaging with each team member to uncover their core strengths that contribute to the branch goals so that they can be successful, achieve their potential and be recognized for their achievements.
·Business Development and Sales Management:Lead sales planning and business development activities and play an active role in coaching and mentoring of field sales staff, managing performance and engaging with customers on a regular basis.

Focus on sales and margin metrics and definition of opportunities to maximize these and our market share.

Engaging key customers at a more senior level in order to understand their operations, maintenance and procurement strategies so that the branch team can be better aligned with customers.
·Key Supplier Engagement:Collaborate with key supplier representatives at a local level in an effort to jointly grow our business and develop our team’s sales expertise, knowledge of product lines and related value propositions.

Align suppliers with both end user and Belterra strategies.

Facilitate supplier relationships with the sales team and make their training support available as needed.
·Health and Safety Leadership:Support our program and related engagement activities with our team to ensure we lead with a safety first priority in everything we do.

Observe all staff in safety sensitive situations having a keen eye for best practices and improvement opportunities.
·Process Compliance and Change Management:Ensure staff have the proper tools and training in all core processes and job functions.Ensure team are aware of key metrics/goals and are in compliance with corporate guidelines as it relates to Health and Safety, ISO and other areas defined by our executive team.Apply best practices, benchmarking, ISO audit results and feedback from staff to define waste, standardize and improve process performance.Use process measurement as a key predictor of long term financial performance.Promote an “Always looking for a better way” philosophy.Job Requirement: Education:
·Any Post Secondary Education in a Mechanical or Business field Skills:Excellent communication skillsDemonstrated record of continuous learning and professional developmentDiploma/Degree in Business or Technical Area or Equivalent ExperienceStrong computer skillsDemonstrated success in business development and fostering long-term client relationshipsDemonstrated Strategic thinking and planning abilitiesExcellent analytical and decision-making skillsThe ability to develop, inspire and lead a team in the achievement of objectives and goals.

Experience:Experience in a field service business is a mustExperience in the Conveyor belting industry or knowledge in Conveyor belting industry is considered a strong assetIndustrial Sales Experience an asset5+ years of proven leadership experience Reporting To:
