Position: Assistant Sales Branch Manager Location: Vancouver, BC Division: Anixter Security Availability : Immediately Job Summary Our Vancouver office is looking for an Assistant Sales Branch Manager to join the Anixter Security Sales team.

This role is focused on helping lead a team of Inside Sales professionals.

Job duties Reporting directly to the Sales Branch Manager, the Assistant Sales Branch Manager will support the Manager in meeting sales objectives, helping with customer service tasks and act as an ambassador for Anixter.

The Assistant Branch Manager is expected to act as an example to others on the team, by meeting target sales and objectives Responsible for successfully managing the sales processes; lead generation, developing solutions, negotiations, closing sales and post sales service Help lead and train the Inside Sales team on Security market/products/customers/sales strategies Help organize events and Counter days Oversee Counter Sales activities (general customer experience) Focus on relationship building and growing sales within existing business (Products & Services) Support internal training objectives and requirements, including continuous training for the Insides Sales Responsible for sales forecasting and maintenance Job Requirements The successful candidate will possess: Experience & Education Post-secondary degree, strongly preferred Minimum 5 years experience in a sales supervision or management role Job-specific knowledge Good knowledge of physical security products, such as video surveillance, access control and intrusion system.

Good knowledge of IP infrastructure and accessories (asset) Solid understanding of security and audio and video cabling solutions (asset) Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office (e.g.

Outlook, Excel) required Excellent communication skills (written and verbal), required Skills & Attributes Driven and eager to win Leadership skills Passionate and motivated Strong organization skills and detail oriented Team player Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (customer-centric) Strong problem solving skills Excellent decision making abilities Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines with minimal supervision Results oriented We are grateful for your interest in Anixter; however only the candidates selected for an interview will be contacted.
