This is a Full-time position in Woodstock, ON posted August 31, 2020.

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for learning company purchasing policies and procedures, updating purchase order records (e.G.

purchase orders, goods receipts, dates, costing, etc) and reporting.

The Purchasing Coordinator coordinates activities involved with procuring goods and services such as material, equipment, tools, parts, supplies, and advertising, for the organization by performing the following duties.

Key responsibilities include: Create purchase orders from requisitions.

Process good receipts in a timely manner to ensure efficient processing of invoices.

Issue purchase order to supplies and confirm delivery dates, quantities and pricing.

Reporting Data entry and filing.

The ideal candidate will possess: Post-secondary education in Supply Chain or Accounts Payable 2 years experience in Supply Chain or Accounts Payable 2 years inventory or accounts payable experience Working knowledge of MS Access, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Word Proficient in MS Excel functions such as pivot tables, v-lookup functions and general data manipulation Detail oriented Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to clearly and convincingly communicate, both written and oral, with both technical and non-technical internal customers Successful track record working in team environments with proven ability to influence others Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedures manuals.

Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.

Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
