This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted September 10, 2020.

Salary(Grade:08) Hiring salary range $55264-$69,807 Position Purpose Makes purchases linked to various procurement projects, more specifically in the field of construction, renovations and building maintenance.

Informs and advises users throughout the procurement process and the steps in the automated purchasing system (ERP).

Essential Qualifications Knowledge of procurement usually acquired through postsecondary studies or an equivalent combination of experience and education.Two years of procurement experience in the field of construction and building maintenance.Proven negotiation skills.

Organizational and planning skills.Ability to work with multidisciplinary teams.Sense of teamwork and co-operation.Knowledge of standards and laws governing internal trade in Ontario and their application to public institutions (Agreement on Internal Trade, broader public sector, taxes, duties, etc.).Good analytical and business skills.Ability to under pressure and to multitask.Knowledge of routine procurement and control system operations and procedures (including e-commerce).

Knowledge of financial systems and Microsoft Office.

Bilingualism English/French (spoken and written).
