This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted January 29, 2021.

We are a young, busy civil litigation and corporate practice in downtown Ottawa with a broad and varied client base.

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized full time Executive Assistant, who can support the Senior Partner and occasionally other members of the team.

The ideal candidate will bring strong legal assistant experience, superior written and spoken communication abilities, an ability to think on your feet and a passion for service.The successful incumbent would be an independent, enthusiastic and confident administrator who is comfortable with multi tasking and who understands our commitment to service.

Responsibilities: General office duties including managing correspondence, retrieving files
·Drafting correspondence
·Handling inquiries in the lawyer’s absence Book meetings, calls and maintain calendar Preparing standard legal documents(factums, motion records, affidavits of documents Requirements:
·Post-Secondary degree/diploma inrelevant discipline
·Minimum of five (5) years previous experience in a legal environment
·Excellent verbal and written skills in English.
·Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
·Strong interpersonal and client service skills
·Professional and positive demeanor
·Flexibility, willingness to work irregular hours, as required
·Superior organizational and priority setting skills and the ability to multi-task
·Meticulous attention to detail Able to think independently and anticipate what is required
·Strong work ethic
