* Located in Orillia, ON – experience the best of both worlds: affordable living and small-town charm, less than 90 minutes from the GTA* Relocation assistance available* Competitive annual salary* Comprehensive group benefits, company matched retirement savings plan, profit sharing, and allowances for gym memberships, safety clothing, and work boots * Opportunities for mentorship, education, and professional growth and development  Our client, a Canadian civil engineering firm with 30 years of experience, is on the hunt for an experienced Municipal / Land Development Engineering Technologist. Specializing in land development, municipal infrastructure, structural, transportation, water resources and water & wastewater engineering with application to new and re-developed commercial, industrial, residential and recreational properties, their extensive experience and premier service are key factors in their solid track record of successful projects throughout Ontario.  As the new Municipal / Land Development Engineering Technologist, you will be engaged in the design of municipal infrastructure and land development projects, involving residential and industrial subdivisions, site plans, lot grading plans, storm and sanitary sewers, septic systems, storm water management systems, water mains, roads and parking lots.  If you were in this role, here are some of the things you would have done last week:  * Collected field data * Completed technical analysis* Completed preliminary and final design including the preparation of AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings, specifications/contract documents and cost estimates* Submitted applications for approvals and coordinated with external agencies.* Supported with contract administration and construction inspection * Worked independently on multiple projects under minimal supervision  Working with Us  This is a full-time permanent position, working in beautiful Orillia, Ontario.
