Through our robust product engineering, outstanding tooling capabilities and diverse process expertise, we continue to bring lightweight and innovative products to market.Job description:Role SummaryKey ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret drawings and schematics Safely and skillfully operate all machine shop equipment (mills, lathes, grinders, drill presses, etc.,) Design, build, prove out projects for tooling, fixtures and clamping Understand and apply knowledge of various welding processes (GMAW, SMAW, GTAW) Perform preventative maintenance as per defined schedules Establish and follow-up on project implementation Know and understand process docuemntation and customer specific requirements, as they relate to the job function Troubleshoto equipment failures and follow-up on feasibility of modifications, while providing support in making system improvements and reducing department inefficiencies Analyze, record, chart and maintain all documentation for maintenance records, projects and departments Assist and support in all other technical areas as required Maintain a clean and environtmentally safe workshop and production linesKey Qualifications/Requirements Ontario Certificate of Qualification in Millwright Experience with PLC’s: knowledge in programming and troubleshooting of Allen Bradley and/or Siemens PLC’s required Experience with Robotics; knowledge in programming and troubleshooting of Fanuc and Kuka robots required Demonstrated knowledge of basic electrical Ability to read and interpret drawings and schematics Basic knowledge of GD& T (geometric dimensioning and tolerancing) Skill in all machine shop equipment Ability to design, build, prove out projects for tooling, fixtures and clamping Demonstrated knowledge of welding (GMAW, STAW, SMAW) Demonstrated knowledge of hydraulics and pneumatics (basic ability to repair and replace cylinders) Know and understand process documentation and customer specific requirements, as they relate to the job function Demonstrated knowledge of English, both oral and written Demonstrated knowledge of Mathematics Demonstrated attention to detail, organizational and interpersonal skills Ability to work rotating shifts Ability to work overtime to meet customer requirementsWhat do we have to offerOur people are our greatest asset.
