Key Account Lead


This is a Full-time position in Hawkesbury, ON posted February 6, 2021.

CASCADES SPECIALTY PRODUCTS GROUP The Specialty Products Group, a division of Cascades, is a leader in the industrial packaging, food packaging and recovery sectors.

The Group has 38 business units across North America and Europe and employs more than 2,200 employees.

Your Challenge Reporting to the General Sales Manager, the Key Account Lead is responsible for developing sales for the major customers under his or her responsibility, as well as for prospecting new accounts.

You will develop value propositions for customers and offer integrated solutions that correspond to business opportunities, customer needs and market context, in order to achieve sales objectives.

You are also responsible for optimizing sales and revenue growth through account planning and development and contributing to the tactical operating plans you lead.

You coordinate across all of Cascades’ strategic business units to maintain the link between the customer and our organization.

In addition, one of your most important responsibilities is to establish and maintain relationships with as many key people and decision-makers within client companies as possible, and to foster long-term strategic partnerships with them.

Finally, you work closely with the marketing function to gain a solid understanding of the business sectors (growth, trends, customers, competitive positioning) and to share your vision in terms of major account rankings.

Job Responsibilities More specifically, in this position you will be responsible for managing major accounts related to our isothermal packaging solution, as well as developing national accounts across Canada.

On a daily basis, with a customer service oriented approach, you will be responsible for :
– Increase and maintain revenues from Cascades’ strategic customers;
– Develop sales strategies in line with the business unit’s strategy and objectives Prepare quotes and pricing for major accounts
– Manage activities related to the creation and negotiation of contracts for major accounts;
– Establish and manage the account plan for major accounts in accordance with current guidelines (e.g.

– Establishes and maintains important relationships at all levels of client companies.

Desired education and experience The Key Account Lead for the Isotherme solution must have:
– Experience in the consumer goods (CPG) sector;
– Have a minimum of 5 years experience as a Major Account Leader (or equivalent position);
– Have a very good knowledge and expertise in national account management, including head office relations (sales, procurement, etc.);
– Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or other related fields.

Technical competencies
– Advanced knowledge of all points of the MS Office suite;
– Ease with customer management software (CRM)
– Excellent communication, customer relations and negotiation skills;
– Ability to manage all aspects of an account;
– Strategic thinking and ability to correlate data to the context of clients and Cascades.
