Office Location: Ottawa, OntarioDLS is looking for experienced Microsoft SCCM Subject Matter Expert to join our growing team on one of our larger (longer term) Public sector client projects in support of global cutting-edge network technologies and infrastructure.

Working embedded with our client’s System Management team, the Microsoft SCCM Expert will help develop a turnkey solution that is simple to use and is easy to maintain and train.Roles and Responsibilities:The ideal candidate will be responsible for, including but not limited to:The Microsoft SCCM Expert will primarily work in client’s network and be embedded with the System Management (SM) Team (i.E., receive work direction from the SM Team) to provide support in developing the following artifacts for both the Headquarters and Mobile Domains:Architect and design of SCCM infrastructure and SCCM migration activities.Solution design and recommendation of SCCM infrastructure and implementationReview and understand technical/business requirements gathered from our clientsIdentify dependencies within multiple applicationsReview client business and technical requirements and use them to assemble desktop configuration scripts.Collect the required software components from the various hardware and software vendors such as drivers, installation packages for the purpose of creating images for the supported hardware platforms using standard toolsets and processes.Provide desktop management automation through scripting to provide consistent and predictable servicePackaging of applications including all related preparation tasks for enterprise software and operating system deployments.Document project delivery and transfer to operations.dministration and creation of images for Windows 7, 8 and 10 (32 & 64-bit operating systems)Package software applications for automated software installation in required client’s VM format or Windows InstallerInstall, customize, maintain, test, and troubleshoot operating systems and other systems softwareWrite technical documentationQualifications:Post-secondary education in Computer Science or equivalent; Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience supporting IT environments spanning multiple sites; Minimum of 10 years of experience architecting, designing and administering SCCM 2012 R2 or high infrastructure; Experience withOperating System Deployment including Windows 10 migration, update deployment and application packaging and deployment; Advanced knowledge and technical experience with Windows 7 and 10.Excellent scripting experience with PowerShell, Bash, Python or JavaScript, etc; Experience of scripting to automate application silent installationKnowledge supporting Windows Server 2012R/2016, Active Directory.Strong technical skill with proven availability to diagnose and resolve every complex issue; OtherExperience with Canadian Army, Department of National Defence would be an asset.Positions HighlightStart Date: ImmediatelySector: PublicOpen positions: 1Location: OttawaJob Types: Full-time, ContractLanguage Requirements: EnglishDuration: Up to 3 yearsSecurity Clearance: Secret (REQUIRED), or eligible for Secret applicationMust be eligible to work in Canada either as a Canadian Citizen or Permanent Resident.
