This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted September 6, 2020.

Adecco is currently hiring a R& D Operations Coordinatorfor our Medical Manufacturer in Ottawa West.

This is a Full-Time contract for approximately 1 year with potential for extension.

We are offering Full Time hours, working Monday-Friday for this contract.

Compensation to be determined based on experience.R& D Operations CoordinatorResponsibilities: The main purpose of this role is to support activities in the R& D test labs, Semi-Automated Assembly Lab (SAL) and R& D Metrology Lab to support R& D programs and deliverables.Support activities of operators in the R& D Labs which may includeresource allocations across programsPerform testing and execution of R& D tasks as required.Coordinate and communicate between R& D Planning and each of the R& D operations areas, as well as with groups and departments outside of R& D.Serve asa point of contact for R& D-related operations, infrastructure, equipment, materials and cartridge assembly.Support continuous improvement initiatives in the R& D labs including qualityand capacityReview and update R& D Lab documentation to ensure accuracy and relevancySupport and perform routine maintenance of laboratory equipment and track completion on a regular basis.Safeguard the environment and facilitate a safe and healthy workplace culture.

Understand and comply with applicable EHS policies, procedures, rules and regulationsSupport maintaining the effectiveness of the Quality System.

Continuously challenge existing systems, processes and procedures to improve them.R& D Operations CoordinatorRequirements: Technical diploma or higher required.Minimum 3-6 years in laboratory, operations, quality or technical.Strong analytical and problem solving skillsAbility or aptitude to work on problems that are operational or GMP/GLP in natureAbility to form and develop interpersonal, professional relationships; display socially and professionally appropriate behaviourAbility to work independently and exercise judgment and initiative in dealing with a variety of duties and responsibilitiesCustomer focused and continually seeks to understand customer needs, concerns and priorities to meet or exceed customer expectation and requirements.Ability and aptitude to use various types of databases and other computer softwareWorking knowledge of MS Office in particular Excel and PowerPointTo be considered for the R& D Operations Coordinatorrole in Ottawa West, click APPLY NOW!
