Mechanical and Electrical Assembly Technician – Co-op

At Camus, you’ll have the opportunity to contribute your technical knowledge in a diverse environment alongside our team of high skilled technicians, drafters, engineers and administration staff.

What You will Do: Assemble products per engineering documents and established production standards.

Prepare and setup necessary tools and equipment for manufacturing processes.

Review of finished subassemblies, parts and products to ensure accuracy against drawings & BOMs.

Read and interpret blueprints and follow various work instructions of supervision.

Layout and wire electrical assemblies in accordance to print requirements.

Apply intellect, creativity, adaptability, judgment skills to achieve and sustain required results.

Support peers and management with all efficiency increase projects and ideas.

Your Preferred Profile: Excellent mechanical, electrical and numerical skills Eager to learn and adapt new horizons.

Self-learner with a strong interest in emerging technologies.

Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical fundamentals with a passion for hands on work.

Must possess light work physical ability and skills to be able to assemble and fit products.

Ability to communicate and work well with the fellow employees including active participation in employee involvement activities and problem solving efforts.

Attendance is paramount.

Flexible and able to adapt to changing work stations and hours, if necessary.
