How You’ll Make an Impact:  

Reporting to the SVP Healthcare and Seniors of Sodexo Canada, this position will be responsible for strategic and operational leadership of our Healthcare and Seniors business across Ontario with an emphasis on retaining and growing our portfolio.   

In this role, you will serve as the primary representative for client accounts in Ontario. Responsible for policy compliance, health & safety, talent, financial performance, and client relationships, you will lead a team of professionals towards operational excellence, client retention and contribute to the growth of your portfolio.

Your responsibilities will be more specifically but not limited to:

  • Provide strategic leadership to your respective district and units to ensure client satisfaction and account retention.
  • Maintain a professional business relationship with the client by directly negotiating contracts and matters pertaining to account operations.
  • Lead and inspire others to grow and develop our business through innovation, in collaboration with sales and support teams
  • Ensure financial performance and goals of the scope.
  • Oversee compliance to all company/client policies and procedures, and government regulations.
  • Own, inspire and engage others by role-modelling a culture of the highest standards in Health and Safety across all levels of the organisation
  • Ensure implementation of the business plan for the client that establishes a rapport, promote partnership, and fulfills the clients’ needs and expectations.
  • Monitor unit operation to ensure the highest quality of products and services.
  • Promote and support talent, and workplace diversity initiatives.

What You’ll Need to Succeed:  

  • You must possess a Degree in Business Management or related fields
  • Understanding of the Canadian Healthcare environment would be a real asset
  • 10 years’ experience in a senior operational leadership role, included demonstrated ability to successfully grow a business
  • Ability to set priorities, plan, and coordinate work activities, enabling the selective allocation of attention and resources.
  • Strong sense of client relations: ability to establish and maintain rapport with clients and potential clients and establish long-term relationships for account retention, future sales, and the best interest of the organization.
  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Strategic leadership to engage and lead large teams towards common objectives, manage performance and grow talents
  • Proven motivator (experience motivating direct and indirect teams), agile, and highly collaborative
  • Strong sense and appetite to innovate and being solution-minded; willing to take calculated risks
  • Learner, open to continued growth and development
  • Strong financial acumen and analytical thinking
  • You must be available to travel up to 50% of your time in your scope
  • Fluently bilingual in French and English is an asset
