Job DescriptionWe are currently seeking Team Leaders for our Woodstock Plant!Full Time, PermanentShifts Available: 4×10’s Afternoon Shift 4:00p-2:00a, 3 x 12’s Weekend Shift 6:00a-6:00pAbout Marwood:We are an award-winning, OEM metal stamping and modular assembly company supporting the automobile and light truck manufacturing industry for 30 years throughout Canada, the US and Japan.Rewards:$22.50/hr plus shift premium (4%-afternoons)Competitive group benefits plan & pension planTraining and development opportunitiesGeneral Requirements:Grade 12 or GED Required2+ years related manufacturing experience in stamping, welding, or assembly required2+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in stamping welding, or assembly preferredPrevious forklift and overhead crane experience an assetPrevious experience training, mentoring, and fostering a team environment an assetAdvanced communication and computer skillsAbility to stand for extended periods of timeDesire to work on a teamExcellent attendanceDuties & Responsibilities:Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are followedEnsure team members receive training to correctly and safely operate equipment and machines and identify training needsTeam building, motivation and conflict resolutionDirect and assist team members to achieve work goals and objectives Facilitate team meetingsCoordinate manpower at daily meetings Daily communication with Team Leaders on other shiftsAware of hourly targets being met, informing Group Leader of Associates not meeting requiredAware of shipping requirements and report downtimeFollow correct protocol to troubleshoot Evaluate and report on parts inventory, production supplies and cycle countsComplete necessary audits: Q/A, 5S, PM’s Complete new or ongoing projects (5S, Tools, etc.)Set up and operate production equipment within the teamEnsure first and last off is complete and quality standards are metInitiate and follow up on maintenance repairsEnsure daily Preventative Maintenance logs are completeInitiate corrective action and/or continuous improvementsMonitor quality of production parts and ContainmentImplementation of new principles and practicesCheck and Balance (Schedule, performance and corrective measures)DWI and MOS knowledge and follow throughEnsure work areas are clean, neat and orderlyAll other relevant dutiesFor more information, please visit our website: http://marwoodinternational.Com/careers/At Marwood we’re committed to giving people with disabilities an equal opportunity to provide feedback, and access any information they may need.
