Busy law firm seeking an associate lawyer with at least 2 years of practice experience to aid in our practice involving wills and estate planning, probate, real estate, and family law areas.
Qualifications: Member in good standing in one of the Canadian Provinces (ability to transfer license to LSO) for at least 2 years Valid drivers license with access to a vehicle Attention to detail and accuracy in written communications Ability to work unsupervised Ability to make sound legal decisions and follow through Ability to add value to the legal team Drafting court pleadings experience Understanding in Ontario Family court rules Knowledgeable in using PC Law, Microsoft Office, Divorcemate, Conveyancer/Unity, Est8-a-base, Fast Company, Willbuilder, and ACL Excellent oral and written communication skills Entrepreneurial skills and experience is an asset Interested applicants are invited to send a cover letter, skills-based CV.
