One of our government clients is looking for a Workday Programs Manager (Talent Management Suit) Length: Contract term is 9 months with a possibility of extension Location: North York, ON (Remote work is in place during COVID-19, but can change to onsite at the discretion) Hours: 9-5 pm (7.25 hours/day) POSITION SUMMARY Reporting to the Senior Director, Employee Experience, People & Culture division, the manager will be responsible for:
– Assess talent programs (recruitment, performance management, succession planning etc.) requirements, perform impact assessments, design, and build technical solutions to fulfill business requirements and promote the best possible user experience in Workday
– Support the full lifecycle project management experience, from initial opportunity through to requirement development / definition, functional solution design, implementation, data-migration, system testing, user acceptance testing, go-live and service management
– Lead the Talent Programs (recruitment, performance management, succession planning) content migration project work including business process configuration, testing, and user training
– Collaborate on design decisions and implement enhancements
– User training and development of internal stakeholders specifically in system usage and utilization of people system tools
– Establish standards and processes for data analytics, create standard evaluation reports, and create dashboards
– Collaborate with stakeholders across the business
– Advise and provide recommendations to the Sr.

Director to increase success of the overall project ROLE TASKS TO BE PERFORMED BY THE RESOURCE The individual will be required to provide the following:
– Design, develop and test specific to talent program cases Communication documents for internal team, stakeholders, subject matter experts, and the business
– Lead the talent program content migration
– Talent Management business and project implementation plans from concept to implementation
– Governance plan and process documentation
– Design, develop and implement training materials for all administrators
– Other duties as assigned.

– Experience working and supporting a live Workday Talent Management production environment is essential
– Degree or equivalent in Human Resources, Business Administration or in a related field
– Minimum 3 years of professional experience in hands-on Talent Management Systems implementations within a med-large, complex corporate environment
– Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand program requirements and translate into system business rules
– Ability to identify reporting and information needs to satisfy metrics and management needs
– Excellent documentation skills for developing information and reporting requirements
– Proven ability to develop effective relationships, influence and gain credibility across all levels of an organization
– Demonstrated communication skills, clear and concise, written and verbal; strong presentation skills
– Knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) would be an asset
– Project management Skills
– Short listed respondents will be required to make a 10-minute summary presentation of applicable skills and be interviewed by the Evaluation Team.

– In-depth understanding of learning systems infrastructure (preferably Workday Talent Management systems, applicant tracking systems, upcoming technology trends) PERFORMANCE METRICS
