The broad DesignWare IP portfolio includes logic libraries, embedded memories, embedded test, analog IP, interface IP, security IP, embedded processors, and subsystems. Our extensive investment in IP quality, comprehensive technical support and robust IP development methodology enables designers to reduce integration risk and accelerate time-to-market.

This 16-month internship will start in May 2021 with our Analog and Mixed Signal Circuit Design Team in Markham working on advanced DDR memory and interface integrated circuit projects.  

What you will learn: 
The following are examples of design tasks that our past interns were involved in:

  • Architect software programs for automating integrated circuit design and characterization flow
  • Develop digital timing model for static timing analysis of high-speed circuits
  • Perform functional verification of Verilog behavioral models

Skill Requirements: 

  • Proficient in scripting languages such as Python, Perl and shell scripts
  • Excellent knowledge of circuit theories and design flows
  • Motivated, curious and interested in integrated circuit technology

Education Requirements:
Minimum: 3rd year engineering or computer science student
