Senior Manager, Contingent Workforce Management, Technology & Analytics, HR




Contributes to the overall success of the HR/Talent function globally, ensuring specific individual goals, plans, and initiatives are executed / delivered in support of the team’s business strategies and objectives.  Ensures all activities conducted are in compliance with governing regulations, internal policies and procedures.




  • Champions a customer focused culture to deepen client relationships and leverage broader Bank relationships, systems and knowledge.
  • Manage relationship with contingent workforce management technology provider; participate in reviews and oversee required ongoing updates to contingent workforce program process, workflows and technology
  • Manage relationship with contingent workforce managed services provider; participate in reviews
  • Oversight of automated requisition, sourcing, selection, contracting, time tracking, payment  and reporting including day to day issues and escalations
  • In partnership with contingent workforce managed services provider, develop self-serve reporting mechanism; handle day to day reporting issues and escalations
  • Compile and analyze data across multiple internal and external systems to inform Executive dashboards related to contractor workforce
  • Interpret data and trends related to contingent workforce; recommend approaches to contractor talent acquisition strategies
  • Understand how the Bank’s risk appetite and risk culture should be considered in day-to-day activities and decisions.
  • Actively pursues effective and efficient operations of his/her respective areas in accordance with Scotiabank’s Values, its Code of Conduct and the Global Sales Principles, while ensuring the adequacy, adherence to and effectiveness of day-to-day business controls to meet obligations with respect to operational, compliance, AML/ATF/sanctions and conduct risk.

Education/Experience Required:


  • Human Resources, Supplier Management, Reporting, Analytics
  • Bank and/or industry experience with a global firm
  • Knowledge and experience with contingent workforce programs and technology (SAP Fieldglass)
  • Knowledge of contingent workforce industry and constantly changing regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work and communicate very well with various business partners, and across all levels, including Executive interaction and presentation skills
  • Adept at understanding and interpreting data sets, creating dashboards
