Job Description:

Business group: Regulatory Initiatives

Project: Candidate will work on Benchmark Rate Reform program which is most high visibility regulatory program with urgent delivery timelines. Huge initiative to transition away from LIBOR and transition to new interest rates where the seasoned Project will work on the migration strategy from a business perspective (defining scope of project, gathering and documenting requirements, working with market risk, technical and other business teams). Project is currently in implementation phase and expected to continue to end of 2021.


  • The selected candidate will have the exposure to a massive project which is currently a big initiate for all banks.
  • The main function of a Business Analyst is to perform the analysis, design, implementation, modification, and daily functional support of all applications.
  • BA will provide migration strategies from a business perspective, be able to define the scope of project, will work closely with technology partners to help deliver.
  • BA will not manage the technology angle of the project directly however will work with technology team to deliver.

Must Haves:

  • 10+ years experience as a Business Analyst in Capital Market large scape projects, managing large projects, able to maintain risk issues, conduct regular status reporting, planning end to end implementations.
  • 10+ years of excellent knowledge of derivatives, capital market risk, trading, bonds & treasury products.
  • 10+ years of hands on experience Planning & Executing end to end delivery of complex capital market program
  • 10+ years of hands on Experience defining & documenting clear delivery plans and working with various business & IT teams to help deliver it. Accountable for on-time final delivery of scope & all necessary sign offs
  • Data management skills, comfortable working with large Excel files.

Nice to Haves:

  • Solid understanding & experience of directly working on LIBOR replacement program. (highly preferred)
  • Experience with project management in larger global banks or top 5 banks within Canada – highly preferred.
  • VBA and Macros Experience
