Our department supports a very important business function at the bank which oversees Information Security and Cyber Risk reporting. We are searching for talented individuals to join us in a very exciting journey as we operationalize our Enterprise Protect Risk Reporting Factory. We are moving away from a tradition project delivery model to a continues change model to drive value quickly and embracing the agile mindset. You will have the opportunity to start at sprint zero as we form our Pod and refine our new way of working.

Job Description

Are you a big picture thinker? Fantastic! This is exactly the kind of thinking TD needs when it comes to our business intelligence reporting and analytics. In this role, we need you to take a holistic, strategic approach to sourcing data, design and development of critical reports for the bank’s Information and Cyber Security risk reporting domains.
As data’s role in providing extraordinary insights into business and information security grows, we’ll look to the valued expertise you’ll provide in this role, to develop, adopt and evolve the best in class reporting and business intelligence capability.

Moreover, you have a talent for developing and executing end to end testing that draw on your technical expertise in automation. Finally, you’ll fit in well if you have the agile mindset of doing work, like to own your space and execute with speed and precision, relishing all challenges as opportunities to dig in, collaborate and take TD into the future of data and analytics.

As a Senior Business Intelligence QA Analyst, you will:

  • Work in a dedicated Pod developing and executing formal test strategies and plans to ensure the delivery of quality reporting and data. Accountable for test planning, writing test cases/scripts, test case automation and test execution. Define and track quality assurance metrics such as defects, defect counts, test results and test status as well as participate in test planning, defect management/resolution, installation/maintenance, and are involved in risk/issue management.
  • Testing may include but not limited to the following: system integration testing, regression testing, user acceptance testing, functional testing, performance testing, operability testing, and deployment verification testing.
  • In-depth experience testing with very large datasets and comprehensive understanding big data technologies
  • Apply test automation and innovation on data platforms and reports in a continuous change model aligned to business or organizational strategies.
  • Collaborate with technology and business partners to resolve issues
  • Work closely with various testing center of excellences to align testing to enterprise frameworks and best practices.

Requirements

  • Undergraduate degree or technical certificate
  • Seven (7) or more years relevant experience
  • Expert knowledge and experience in end to end test automation
  • Experience in a data and reporting centric environment
  • Test strategy definition
  • Test plan creation for release
  • SQL scripting for ETL logic
  • JIRA – Story creation, Defect Tracking, Track the stories till closure
  • Confluence – For documentation
  • CI/CD Tools – Bitbucket
  • Excel report validation
  • Tableau Testing
  • Python Scripting
  • Experience with technology and cyber risk management
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum delivery model
