As we strive to be at the forefront of a complex and vastly changing retail industry, it is an exciting time to join the Canadian Tire family of companies.What You’ll Do Develop tools and user computing (EUC) based on business requirements that will integrate with CTC store systems Provide quality control support and enhancements for existing tools and EUCs related to the above As required run existing automation processes (e.G.

Ecomm reports, ad-hoc sales requests etc.) that enable information to be delivered to stores accurately.

Develop key reporting tools using MS Excel, VBA, Python and other data analytics tools (KNIME, Aginity, etc.) Synthesize information from multiple sources to generate insights and draw conclusions, including building and running queries to obtain relevant data from complex data sources Consult and problem solve on various business issues with cross functional groups Who You AreWe are looking for individuals who are: Creative and courageous, with the ability to manage in an environment of change and ambiguity to help us take bold, strategic moves in this rapidly evolving retail environment Action oriented, and comfortable taking calculated risks to better serve our customers and business Outcome focused, critical thinkers with the ability to analyze and visualize, to ensure continuous improvement across our entire business Collaborative team players with superior influencing skills, who build relationships easily across various stakeholder groups to move initiatives forward What You Bring Post Secondary education in retail management, computer programming, or other business related designation.

Minimum of 2 years work related experience Fully bi-lingual (English and French) written and verbal Advanced programming skills using Visual Basic, DB Visualizer, SQL, Aginity and Python Excellent written and verbal communication skills Excellent problem solving, listening and analytical skills 2+ years of experience demonstrating analytical and programming skills Ability to “learn on the fly” Attention to detail with high quality end-product Web programming or video editing experience would be a strong asset About Canadian Tire CorporationCanadian Tire and its family of companies are boldly shaping retail in Canada and we continue to deliver a positive experience for our customers.
