For over 12 years Blindside Networks has been developing BigBlueButton, a virtual classroom system that provides remote students a high-quality online learning experience (https://bigbluebutton.Org).Blindside Networks has experienced tremendous growth from K12, colleges, and universities around the world as they move their physical classes online.Blindside Networks is looking to hire an Inside Sales Specialist to join our growing team in Ottawa, Ontario.

Successful applicants will have five or more years of working experience with 2+ years in a sales driven role.You will respond to incoming leads, qualify them, build relationships with prospects, demonstrate understanding of their challenges (every school is slightly different), and best align our products and services to their needs.You will also work closely with the engineering team to give feedback from customers/prospects and with the customer success team to ensure a smooth onboarding experience.We are all currently working remotely during Covid-19.Our offices are in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.Key Responsibilities: Develop customer accounts by proactively gathering and reviewing leads to identify high-level sales opportunities.Based on an understanding of the prospect’s desired solution, align our product to deliver the best results based on benefits, pricing, setup time and any other information needed to secure the business.Work with the Customer Success team to Identify short-term and long-term sales strategies to expand existing business into new opportunities.Other duties as assigned.
