To partnerwith the aligned function and/or business area, together with the relevantHRBPs, to manage the recruitment process, provide subject matter expertise andinsight, and enable hiring managers to select the best quality candidates atall levels. Responsible for executing and managing the end to end talentacquisition strategy for the aligned function/business, ensuring the use ofbest practices and relevant tools to achieve the desired outcome. Leveragingthe employee value proposition to ensure a highly positive candidateexperience.

Major Responsibilities:

  • Understandthe needs of the client groups and successfully execute the talentacquisition strategy. Deliver high quality talent into the business bysuccessful management of the end to end recruitment process in alignment withour Talent Selection methodology (Job briefing meeting with line manager,determine sourcing and attraction strategy, ensure effective screening andinterview process, coach line manager selection decision).
  • Becomea trusted advisor to hiring managers and Human Resources BusinessPartners (HRBP) within client groups by providing subject matter expertise toinform activity, developing creative solutions to hiring issues andconstructively challenging selection decisions. Take responsibility forensuring hiring managers are compliant throughout the recruitment process forboth internal and external candidates.
  • Candidaterelationship management. Develop engagement and rapport withcandidates, placing a higher degree of focus on those identified as highlysuitable for current and future positions. Transfers insight about newly hiredcandidate, generated from assessment during recruitment process, to HRBP andTalent Management to ensure effective on-boarding and creation of earlydevelopment plans
  • Demonstrate andadvocate the use of relevant technology throughout the recruiting process. Optimize theuse of our Applicant Tracking System (Taleo) to manage the recruiting process.Understand and advocate the use of LinkedIn as a vehicle for the attraction andsourcing of active and passive candidates.
  • Supportdriving process improvements to current HR practices which may includecandidate assessment and ”on campus” recruitment.

  • Coordinatewith line managers to ensure proper onboarding activated for respective newhires.

  • Contribute to team projects/initiatives asassigned.


  • Auniversity degree or college diploma in business or related field. ProfessionalHuman Resource Designation considered an asset.

  • 3+years high volume corporate function recruiting experience required.

  • Experiencewith automated Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo preferred),

  • Ableto produce results in a matrixed environment.

  • Proficiencywith Microsoft Office Suite.

  • Demonstratedability to operate effectively in a fast paced, dynamic environment.

  • Strongcustomer service orientation along with a high degree of attention to detailand sensitivity to confidential information. Must be a self-starter anddemonstrate total quality in their approach to all assignments.

  • Excellentinterpersonal, verbal and written communication skills, with a positive,professional style.

  • Mustdemonstrate common sense, good judgment and the ability to think in context tosupport comprehensive solutions to Human Resources challenges.

  • Detail,process and metric oriented.

  • Experiencewith competency based Interviewing

  • Bilingualism(English and French) is an asset.
