Senior Associate, Global Leadership Digital Learning

Reporting to the Director, Global Leadership & Digital Learning, this position will support the development and delivery of the enterprise learning strategy. The Senior Global Leadership & Digital Learning Associate will work with the team to upskill employees to new ways of working, moving towards a more digitally savvy work environment using new tools and technology. The role will support the development and execution of the global OMERS leadership & learning strategy, including program implementation, communications and content development.

Accountabilities:

• Support the design of leadership effectiveness programs and provide coaching to leaders
• Drive digital and mobile learning strategies (e.g., embedding digital ways of working)
• Partner with PEX to upload new learning content and administer new learning programs
• Define and analyze learning metrics against business outcomes
• Define career paths and internal mobility programs (e.g., rotational program)
• Lead all aspects of delivery of course logistics (materials, rooms, setup, external partner site contact, chargebacks)

• Build effective relationships and works collaboratively HR, business leaders, technical trainers and external partners

• Coordinate consultative stakeholder needs assessments across the enterprise for digital tools and development programs and, analyzing inputs and themes

• Support the development of the global leadership and digital learning strategy • Keep up-to-date in digital ways of working and learning trends to enhance the learning strategy and drive adoption

• Evaluate and propose new digital learning methodologies and tools

• Support the design of enterprise-wide digital learning and development programs

• Assist with the development of role-based learning paths and program macro designs

• Create interactive and engaging instructor-led and online learning course content based on performance learning objectives, with a focus on innovative, bite-sized adoption content

• Manage third party content developers, as the need arises

• Develop and maintains learning content development and rollout project plans

• Build innovative business-facing intranet sites to drive adoption and “pull” learning

• Work with program leadership and the business to draft impactful adoption communications and support HR and business to lead adoption with their teams

• Support the implementation and maintenance of related systems and technology, including learning management system, e-learning libraries, and collaboration tools

• Coordinate and track the delivery of learning programs across the enterprise; act as the main point of contact for enterprise-wide learning initiatives

• Coordinate proposals and evaluations for vendor selection and contracting; track vendor performance and eligibility for contract renewal

• Design and develop courseware (ILT, eLearning) using standard instructional design tools, processes and methodologies.

• Facilitate and co-facilitate classroom workshops, tutorials and information sessions to all levels of the organization.

• Coordinate in-classroom and WebEx learning sessions, including logistics and materials

• Evaluate and measure business impact of L&D offerings and present recommendations to HRBP and business leaders
• Administer and update vendor contracts

Skills & Experience:

• A minimum of 3 years’ work experience in learning and development

• Proven track record with project management and organization skills

• Experience with learning management systems (preferably Workday), digital learning tools, eLearning authoring tools and SharePoint a strong asset

• Agile experience is an asset • Strategic thinking and innovation capabilities

• Exceptional relationship management and communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal with a focus on plain language)

• Demonstrated commitment to personal development and life-long learning

• Availability to travel as required (COVID Environment permitting, following guidance of regional health care professionals and our Executive Leadership Team)
