Campus Talent Acquisition Associate (12 month contract)

We are looking for a highly motivated Campus Talent Acquisition Associate to join our Human Resources team in Toronto. Reporting to the Head of Campus, you will be responsible for delivering full-cycle campus recruitment for various positions across our corporate groups in Canada. You will also play a critical role to ensure that we engage, attract and hire exceptional talent while amplifying the OMERS and Oxford Properties employment brands in the early talent identification space.

As a key member of the talent acquisition team you will be joining a dynamic group of individuals who foster an inclusive and collaborative culture while delivering exceptional talent acquisition advice and support to our business leaders. 

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for: 

• Supporting Campus Recruiting strategies and sourcing channels to build a pipeline of candidates 
• Establishing connections, maintain and leverage a professional online and social media presence, and prospect top talent through your network. 
• Develop and maintain strong working relationships with HR Business Partner’s to understand recruitment profiles 
• Provide trusted advice to hiring managers by using diverse interviewing and assessment techniques to validate candidate experience levels. 
• Manage recruiting efforts: job profiles/descriptions, job postings, identify, screen, interview and refer applicants to hiring managers and HR Business Partner’s for placements 
• Act as a main point of contact for all candidates’ correspondence and deliver a best-in-class candidate experience by managing your talent pipeline, acknowledging all applicants, and engaging in regular communication. 
• Support with the final selection process and prepare all documentation 
• Maintain accurate recruitment data and records in ATS 
• Organize and participate in campus information sessions  

To succeed in this role, you have: 

•    At least 2 years of relevant campus experience
•    Post-secondary degree in a related field
•    Independent, resourceful self-starter with sound judgment
•    Professionalism and strong interpersonal skills 
•    Excellent attention to detail
•    Ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
•    Strong oral and written communication skills
•     Adaptability and exceptional time management skills
•    Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) 
•    Understanding of applicant tracking systems (e.g. Workday) is an asset 
•    Thrive in organizations that constantly evolve and adapt
