LifeLabs Medical Laboratory Services is seeking organized individuals with excellent customer service and problem solving skills to join our team at 1911 Dundas St E, Mississauga as a Site Lead.
As a Site Lead, you will be the go-to person for LifeLabs’ customers, patients, and internal employees. This is a lively and engaging role with an ongoing rotation of activities that include both bench work and administrative tasks to support the delivery of improved healthcare outcomes for patients


Your responsibilities will include:
•Staff scheduling to ensure effective workflow and coverage for vacation, sick leave, and other absences.
• Workflow Management for COVID Processing.
• Coordinating orientation and training for new hires.
•Investigating and helping resolve issues and incidents, and making recommendations for corrective/preventative measures to managers.
•Providing ongoing support and issue management across LifeLabs’ Client Services operations.


This is a temporary full-time role that allows you to develop your leadership skills, and acts as a stepping-stone to management positions. LifeLabs hours of operation are also ideally suited for individuals seeking to maintain a good work/life balance.


Are You a Good Fit?
LifeLabs is seeking a dedicated and organized individual with leadership potential who can deliver exceptional customer service and support to patients, clients, and other LifeLabs employees. Do you have:
•Excellent customer service and communication skills to support all peer, client and patient interactions.
•A minimum of 3 years’ recent experience in specimen management/data entry position
•High School diploma or equivalent.
•Problem solving skills and the ability to think quickly on your feet.
•Ability to adapt to changing needs, schedules and tasks.
•Strong sense of initiative, accountability, and a “can do” attitude.
•Strong computer skills and knowledge, including keyboarding skills and experience with the MS Office suite.
•Ability to maintain the strictest standards of patient privacy and confidentiality.
