Registered Nurse – COVID-19 Screening

Lifemark Health Group is currently seeking Registered Nurses to provide on-site COVID-19 screening and temperature assessment services to our corporate clients. Screenings will take place Monday through Sunday. This is a flexible, casual position requiring any availability 5:00AM – 9:00AM Monday – Friday, as well as 5:00 AM – 7:00AM Saturday – Sunday. 

Shifts are also available in the evening from 5:00PM – 7:00PM, 7 days a week. 

We have gone above and beyond to ensure the safety of our patients and employees with PPE provided, the spacing of patients, screening, and more. Extensive safety protocols and procedures have been put into place and are mandatory.

Responsibilities Include:

  • Completing online training sessions
  • Receiving, preparing and packing their event supplies and documents
  • Setting up the event area at our client’s facility
  • Screening participants using our event documents and supplies
  • Obtaining measurements (varies by event) while maintaining confidentiality
  • Managing adverse events (i.e. positive screening results)
  • Providing basic health education and coaching to each participant regarding next steps
  • Ensuring all event documents are properly completed and submitted                                                                   

Our nurses are:

  • Flexible with their weekly schedule between Monday to Sunday
  • Reliable, mature and comfortable working independently
  • Organized and detail oriented
  • Professional and have excellent communication skills
  • Tech savvy

 Candidates must have:

  • Graduated from an accredited nursing program
  • Current registration with the provincial licensing body in good standing
  • Current CPR Certificate
  • A valid provincial driver’s license and own vehicle
  • Cell phone, home computer, internet and printer
  • Previous community or workplace health service experience is an asset
  • Experience with Occupational Health is an asset
