Come join a team that shares, collaborates and learns with a vision of becoming the icon of orthodontic excellence by building self-esteem, one beautiful smile at a time.What We Offer:Competitive Hourly Wage + Quarterly BonusComprehensive Benefits Package including Medical, Dental, Vision, and Orthodontic Coverage for employees and their families.Yearly CDA licensing fees covered by the employer.Annual Uniform and Shoe Allowance.Educational Reimbursement Program.Guaranteed shift hours and employees qualify for all Statutory Holidays.Employee Parking ProvidedReal Career Growth Opportunities!Key Responsibilities:Providing patient care and support in an enthusiastic way, building a personal connection at every visitEnsures that patients receive optimal hygiene treatment based on clinical findings and their goal for comprehensive oral healthDesire to help, educate and improve our patients’ livesCollect patient’s dental and relevant medical history, to reference during examinationsPrepare patients for the OrthodontistPreparing patient and equipment for X-RaysTaking X-Rays and following all safety procedures as requiredExamine gums for infections or gum disease Clean patient’s teeth to remove plaque, polish, floss, and brushBonding and removal of brackets and orthodontic appliances Placing and removing archwiresEducate patients on good oral hygiene habits and treatment progressUpdating patient records and examination notesPerform all lab duties/requirements as instructed by the Orthodontist or leadership teamPrepare and maintain all dental instruments, supplies and equipmentRequirements: 2+ years’ experience as a Dental HygienistSuccessful completion of a Dental Hygiene Diploma or Hygiene Degree programRegistered and/or licensed by the dental hygiene regulatory authority within province; in good standingExcellent interpersonal and communication skills; written and verbal, an ability to make patients feel comfortable and at easeGreat time management and organizational skillsExperience in an orthodontic office is preferred but not requiredCurrent CPR and First Aid training
