Crown Ridge Place is an accredited 122 bed Long Term Care Home that is seeking energetic and positive RPN’s who are able to practice as a member of the Multidisciplinary Team, at Crown Ridge Place.The RPN will ensure that the homes policies and procedures are in place and followed and report to their Supervisor when neccessary .Perform professional responsibilities and demonstrate conduct in accordance with the Standards of Practice established by the College of Nurses of Ontario; perform duties in accordance with the policies and procedures of the home.Dispense medications and provide direct nursing care and treatments as instructed by the Director of Care and in accordance with policies and procedures.Monitor the provision of resident care in accordance with the physician’s orders and the established plan of care; promptly correct deficiencies when identified, instruct personnel in correct procedures.Adhere to established communications procedures with medical personnel and other healthcare specialists, managers and staff from other departments, Ministry of Health and Long Term Care officials, residents and their family members and coworkers to ensure continuity and quality nursing care.The Registered Practical Nurse will also communicate with residents and their family members regarding health changes and care needs.Crown Ridge Place is seeking energetic team members who are available for all shifts.

Successful applicants will be required to provide an acceptable vulnerable sector criminal check and proof of 2 step Tb testing within the past 6 months.COVID testing will be required within 7 days of start date and will be required to be completed as directed by the public health unit.
