Clinical Training Coordinator, Audiology (regular part-time)

This is a Contract position in Ottawa, ON posted February 25, 2021.

Salary (Grade: 11) Hiring salary range $79077
– $99,887 Position Purpose Assumes the training and administration duties associated with the clinical training component of the Audiology portion of the Audiology and Speech Language Pathology Program of the School of Rehabilitation Sciences.

May be required to teach courses (maximum of three (3) credits) at the School of Rehabilitation Sciences and assists students whose research projects involve an aspect of clinical training.

This is a regular part-time position at 25 hours per week.

Essential Qualifications A Master’s degree is mandatory Member of the College of Audiologists and Speech-Language Pathologists of Ontario (CASLPO) or another province.

Knowledge of the university and clinical environment and of such fields as health care, education, the community, the business environment and the private sector Knowledge of provincial and national policies related to rehabilitation and the health field in general At least five years’ experience in a position as a clinician or clinical supervisory Experience in working in multi disciplinary teams Experience in teaching at the postsecondary level Experience in analysing and designing evaluation tools Experience using computer systems and software such as Windows, word processing, databases, spreadsheets, presentation software, email and the Internet Creativity, initiative and dynamism Tact, diplomacy and professionalism Strong interpersonal communication, leadership and problem solving skills in a team situation Bilingualism
