Who You Are…
As the successful candidate, you are an experienced and highly competent Chef with a reputation of being an effective leader. You have your Red Seal Certification and a valid Safe Food Handling and Smart Serve Certificate. You have a minimum of three (3) years of operational experience in a high-volume kitchen and a minimum of two (2) years’ experience in a leadership or supervisory role in the hospitality, health care and/or food service industry. You also have comprehensive knowledge of food and catering trends with a focus on exceptional quality, production sanitation, food cost controls and presentation. A Diploma in Food & Beverage Management/Hospitality Management is preferred.
What you will do…
Reporting to the Food and Beverage Manager, the Chef is responsible for directing and managing the kitchen operations to meet established Parkland Brand standards. The Chef plans, monitors, and executes all phases of food preparation, delivery and service for residents residing in all service lines at Parkland.
