Through this exciting opportunity you will analyze and design technical and budgeting specifications and pipeline locations for sales and district stations, subdivisions, main extensions, reinforcements, pressure elevations, relocations, replacements, and headers. You will represent our company at partner meetings with utilities, municipalities, builders and developers to communicate the company’s position on various projects.

What You Will Do
Select pipeline locations, cost estimation, project deliverables, and budgets.
Negotiate and connect with municipalities and external agencies to minimize conflicts and improve cost sharing opportunities.
Design and co-ordinate pressure elevations.
Prioritize and rationalize replacement of distribution plant, to ensure integrity of the system.
Conduct compression coupling searches and prepare contingency plans to ensure construction crews are not working in potentially dangerous situations.
Who You Are
You will have the following:
University degree or related construction or operational training and/or experience. Equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
Minimum of 2 years of previous related experience (Operations or Engineering, preferred).
Project management experience and detailed understanding of Distribution Operations procedures and a familiarity with Planning, Design & Records, Operation & Maintenance, and Construction functionalities.
Strong communication and negotiation skills; experience in successful conflict resolution and leading multi-stakeholder projects.
Exposure to Asset Management systems and application of technical specifications; familiarity with pipeline asset records and design specifications is desired.
Business, industry and company knowledge to perform design analysis function effectively, recognizing impacts on capital dollars and understanding of Codes, Standards and Regulations is an asset.
Working Conditions
Act as an On-Call coordinator, supporting field forces, for system emergencies occurring anywhere across the entire EGI System. Emergency response is covered on a 24 hour, 7-day rotating schedule.
