This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted September 8, 2020.

IT Infrastructure Engineer Duration 1 year increment of a 5 year program (initially remote due to Covid and then on-site) Location Toronto, Canada (because project is long term, prefer local candidates) Primary responsibility is to manage complex IT infrastructure projects that meet our customer project requirements in the following areas Cisco Core Routing and Switching, Security Cisco Unified Communications Cisco Wireless Virtualization EMC Storage Data Center technologies Responsibilities 8-12 years as a hands-on on technical VAR implementation projects and having customer facing experiences.

day-to-day client interaction and expectations for multiple andor large-scale projects Creation of detailed project plans, status reporting and managing issuesrisksactions scope and mitigates risk across projects Project budget and billing Partner across cross functional teams to deliver the best possible solution for a client Meet with customers during key phases of the project Continually seeks and capitalizes upon opportunities to increase customer satisfaction and deepen client relationships.

Experience in Cisco’s product line (Routing, Switching, Unified Communication, Data Center Virtualization using VMware and EMC product lines.

Demonstrated ability to plan, organize and successfully driveprojects to meet defined budgets and timelines.

Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously Experience managing project financials and scheduling internal resources Strong verbal, written communication and presentation skills Proficient in MS Project ITIL knowledge (certification preferred) PMP Certification a plus Minimum 4 year college degree, preferably in Business or Project Management Act as technical writing advisor regarding projects, tasks, and operations.

Review, revise and approve previously created documentation.

Manage project and scheduling issues.

Monitor and summarize progress of project.

Provide guidance on project (PUMA) standards, prioritization and validation document requirements.

Work with business and technical teams to advise on requirements, design and workflows.

Provide technical writingediting for GXPNon-GXP documents.

Design, develop, and update required technical documentation using standardized templates.

Consult with Quality, authors, reviewers and approvers to resolve comments and disputes.
