This is a Full-time position in Belleville, ON posted September 8, 2020.

Job Description Maintenance ElectricianCascades is the largest recycled paper collector in Canada and a leader in the production and conversion of corrugated products, tissue paper and specialty products in North America.We are currently looking for a highly motivated and dedicated individual to work in our Belleville corrugated box converting plan as a Maintenance Electrician.Candidates will be required to work on a rotating shift schedule and be physically capable of performing routine and physically demanding work in a warm and humid environment.

Qualifications Qualifications:Must possess an Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)Must possess valid and up to date Trade Certification for Industrial Electricians 309A licenseMust be mechanically and mathematically inclinedSafety oriented and able to follow proper safety proceduresExcellent communication, problem solving skills and ability to provide solutions to complex issues through teamwork and cooperation.Previous experience in a similar role in a corrugated packaging facility will be considered an assetRSRCASIND2 Job Responsibilities Responsibilities and DutiesReporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the successful candidates will have the following main responsibilities:Read and interpret drawings, blueprints, schematics and electrical code specifications to determine layout of industrial electrical equipment installationsInstall, examine, replace or repair electrical wiring, receptacles, switch boxes, conduits, feeders and other electrical componentsTest electrical and electronic equipment and components for continuity, current, voltage and resistanceMaintain, repair, test and install electrical motors, generators, alternators, industrial storage batteries and hydraulic and pneumatic electrical control systemsTroubleshoot, maintain and repair industrial, electrical and electronic control systems and other related devicesConduct preventive maintenance programs and keep maintenance recordsMay install, maintain and calibrate industrial instrumentation and related devices.PLC experience an asset in Allen Bradley and/or Siemens
