Production Leader


This is a Contract position in Barrie, ON posted September 15, 2020.

Immediate opening for a Production Leader in Barrie area

Day shift – must have a car – Permanent full-time role with benefits
Do you work in a welding shop with CWB weld tickets – have supervisory background

Salary $75,000-$85,000 + benefits

•Oversee all production planning and results including; safety, quality, and production/distribution goals.
•Prepare and provide various monthly production-related reports.
•Strategize, plan and implement Continuous Improvement measures.
•Supervise and manage the production floor production staff, quality assurance and logistics.
•Proactively manage employee relations, performance, training and professional development.
•Knowledge of technical drawings to assign work and processes.
•Oversee the production schedule in accordance to daily, weekly, monthly orders and production floor work force and adapt to changing work environment to have production completed on time.
•Solve practical problems related to production workers and production floor requirements.
•Enforce and actively participate in the company’s Health & Safety practices and procedures on a regular basis, ensuring all health and safety regulations are met.
•Meet the company’s goals and objectives in service, production and inventory management.

• 2+ years of Production Supervisor experience, experience with Mig and Tig welding ticketed welder would be ideal
• Manufacturing experience
• Ability to keep up with a fast-paced work environment and fast-paced machinery
• Computer & technology savvy
• Availability to work overtime in the busy season
