What will you be doing?
• 70% preventative maintenance, 20% breakdowns & 10% bench work
• Will be working on: conveyors, packaging machines, printers, coders, material handling equipment
• Troubleshoot, modify and set up PLC’s
• Both emergency and preventative maintenance, depending on production needs
• 80% Mechanical work, 20% electrical work
• Working in a partnership, communicating – tasks completed vs needing to be done
Who are we looking for?
• Maintenance Mechanic and or Licensed 433A Millwright
• Unlicensed Millwright / Mechanic – rate of pay will be experience dependent
• Someone who thinks outside of the box and shares new ideas!
• Looking for long-term employment in a fast paced environment, with overtime available
• Experienced with older and newer machine shop equipment
• Previous experience in an automated environments, such as food or packaging ideal
• Knowledge of GMP’s, HACCP/SQF an asset
• Ideal candidate is outgoing, open to learning, and is not afraid to ask questions
• Prior experience with conveyors, troubleshooting and preventative maintenance
