This is a Full-time position in Belleville, ON posted February 19, 2021.

Each student is an individual with unique interests, goals and strengths who should be supported to move towards graduation along their chosen pathway.Supporting student achievement is the goal of all staff who, in addition to the contributions of caring volunteers and community partners, share their passion for teaching and learning.RESPONSIBILITIES:Responsible for planning, coordination and management of capital projects including new construction, additions, renovations and electrical/mechanical system enhancements for all board facilities.Responsible for capital expenditure projections with accountability for recommendations to capital planning and projects.Responsible for oversight of energy and environmental matters and compliance with relevant legislation.Provide supervision of staff including training, evaluation, scheduling and inspection.Provide written reports and correspondence to the supervisor as required.

QUALIFICATIONS:The successful candidate will possess a four-year University Degree in Engineering, Architecture, Building Technology, or Project Management; with a designation as aProfessional Engineer, OAA, PMI or related field, required.Minimum six years of related experience in progressively responsible positions related to capital planning and management of construction projects, preferably in the public sector; experience with municipal approvals process, consultant/construction contracts, tendering procedures and contract administration within the Broader Public Sector; demonstrated knowledge of relevant regulations and codes; Thorough working knowledge of maintenance processes; proven ability in working as a member of a team and interpersonal skills to build positive working relationships; proven commitment to confidentiality; Strong computer skills and highly effective organization, communication, leadership, time management and strong project management skills required.VEHICLE:A valid driving license and access to a motor vehicle.Persons interested in this position should apply via email prior to February 24th, 2021 @ 9:00 AM to: Board thanks all applicants for their interest, although only those selected for an interview will be contacted.
