Forklift Operator

This is a Contract position in Mississauga, ON posted August 25, 2020.

We have an opportunity available in the Mississauga area near Derry and Mississauga road as a Forklift operator with experience in Counterbalance or Clamp. This role is with a leader in the plastics packaging industry.

Title: Forklift operator (Counterbalance or Clamp)

Shift: The ideal candidate should be able to work rotating shifts.

WEEK 1:
Mon, Tue – 6:00 am – 6:00 pm
Wed, Thurs- off
Fri, Sat, Sun- 6:00 pm – 6:00 am

WEEK 2:
ALTERNATIVELY SWITCH
 
Location: Derry and Mississauga Rd

Role: Temp to Perm

Pay: $19.50/hr

What will you be responsible for?

-75% FL + 25% HGL
-Material handling of plastic packaging products
– QC of plastic packaging products
– Moving rolls of paper, unloading trucks, minimal paper work
– Using the Pallet Jack to move plastic rolls
– Wrapping skids
– Receiving/ Material handling
– General warehouse cleanup
– You could be trained in other areas so please be available to help where needed
– Lifting up to 50 lbs
– Other duties as required
 
INTERVIEW PROCESS:
– Must be able to clear criminal check
– Medical test to be conducted by client post a phone interview selection
– *medical test includes physical examination, vision test and hearing test
