Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Bilingual Operations Officer you will be handling a Customer Service desk providing both English & French services to our dealers, manufacturers and CIBC Banking Centres across Canada. You’ll be accountable for providing professional, timely and efficient service to our automotive clients, to our Banking Centre clients, business partners, and other areas within the bank. Daily funding and payments, reconciliation of reports, maintenance and reconciliations of client accounts and audits, performance of other duties as delegated by management and cross training will also be required in this position.

How You’ll Succeed

  • Processing & Attention to detail – Ensure that transactions are completed accurately and on a timely basis and in accordance to the Banks policies and procedures while dealing with high volumes and tight timelines.
  • Relationship Building– Required to respond to client’s and internal business partners inquires and requests, providing professional high quality customer service for the assigned portfolio to ensure client satisfaction. You will liase and interact with clients and internal business partners as part of the daily management of your portfolio. Communication includes emails and phone calls.
  • Administration & Analytical Thinking – Be able to work simultaneously on various tasks including loan inquiries,  interest calculations and loan processing principles. Have the capability of evolving and developing your business skills.
