ADESA: Receptionist


This is a Full-time position in Ottawa, ON posted September 11, 2020.

ADESA Canada is the largest wholesale vehicle auction and automotive remarketing services company in Canada.

ADESA provides state-of-the art facilities and technologies to help dealers and consignors buy and sell used cars, trucks, RVs, boats, motorcycles and heavy equipment.

ADESA Ottawa is one of ADESA Canada’s 14 wholesale vehicle auction locations Canada.

We currently have an opening for a permanent full-time Receptionist.

SUMMARY: The receptionist is the first point of contact for welcoming visitors, customers.

The receptionist is also responsible toanswer a multiple line console and directing the calls to the right person.

RESPONSIBILITES: Welcomes visitors by greeting them in person or on the phone, refers inquiries and relays messages and provides basic information.Receives and distributes incoming and outgoing mail.Processes courier mail by registering all relevant information for control and billing purposes.Provides routine clerical duties, including photocopying, faxing, sorting/filing documents, collating and distributing materials, ordering supplies, word processing data/information in a prescribed format.Posting fees and other charges to AMSOther duties as required.

EDUCATIONAL/EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:Post-secondary school2-3 years’ office experience preferably in a customer service roleRequires excellent interpersonal and customer service skills, in person and over the phoneExcellent organizational, time management and prioritization skills with the ability to multi task demands and meet deadlinesProficient with Microsoft Office SuiteExcellent communication skills, polite and professional appearanceMust have a positive attitude and strong interpersonal skillsFluency in English and French is required ADESA Canada is committed to providing employment in accordance with the Ontario Human Rights Code and the Accessibility for Ontarians with Disabilities Act.
