Senior Manager, Working Capital Management Solutions


This is a Contract position in Toronto, ON posted February 24, 2021.

What is the opportunity?

You will lead the communications strategy and client experience design for the Digital Working Capital Management Solutions team within Business Financial Services (BFS). As we transform RBC’s suite of Working Capital Management solutions to maximize the value RBC provides to our small business, commercial, corporate and government clients, consistent and effective communications that puts clients first will be imperative. You will work closely with senior leaders, as well as stakeholders across BFS to influence successful business outcomes. You will support the senior team leadership in fostering a team environment focusing on key objectives and priorities, recognizing and celebrating wins and successes, and identifying opportunities to pivot and accelerate towards achieving common goals.

What will you do?

  • Own development and ongoing enhancement of the Digital Working Capital Management Solutions communications strategy to ensure solution value propositions are clearly articulated and capture RBC innovation and industry transformation to best address our clients’ evolving business and banking ecosystem needs
  • Deploy communications strategy consistently across sales, servicing and distribution channels
  • Develop end-to-end client experience strategies for all supporting materials and tools available to clients, sales force and servicing staff across multiple channels
  • Design and manage comprehensive Voice of the Client program. Introduce robust information gathering, develop processes to enable solution design and client messaging, design measurement criteria and manage ongoing program enhancements
  • Advise and influence Digital Working Capital Management  Solutions commercialization strategy execution
  • Work closely with senior team management on crafting internal team communications, coordinating SMT activities, preparing/updating ongoing reporting documentation

What do you need to succeed?


  • 7 years of experience within Communications, Change Management, Product Management, or BFS Sales with a focus on communications strategy design and implementation experience preferably in client-centric, product management and sales environment
  • Strong business acumen, with enhanced understanding of business client environment
  • Basic understanding of Financial Supply Chain Management, Cash Flow Management and Clients’ payments processes, across market segments
  • Strong understanding of marketing principles and product development processes
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Solid working knowledge of desktop software: Power Point, Word, Excel


  • Undergraduate degree
