Senior Manager, Finance Change Management and Operations

The Finance Change Management and Operations Team is looking for a finance leader with a passion for helping others, the grit to solve problems, a growth mindset to learn, and a desire to move the organization forward.

Position Summary
The role has two primary responsibilities to 1) Lead Change Management for Oxford’s newly created Finance Transformation Office, built to drive dedicated focus and more efficient operational agility around the synchronization, prioritization, and implementation of finance transformational programs from a global perspective and optimized to meet the finance transformation strategic objectives, 2) Support Finance Operations – a function that is focused on the development of the Global Finance and Strategy team’s people and culture

As a member of this team, you will be responsible for:

Finance Change Management:
• Lead and develop the strategic direction of change management, in partnership with the Director, Finance Change Management and Operations
• Build, integrate and execute change, training, and communications activities, which include; change readiness and needs assessments, stakeholder analysis and management, adoption strategy, training strategy, content design, and delivery, communications, metrics, reporting, and sustainment
• Direct solutions and participate in integrative decision making of highly complex change management issues by applying critical thinking, considering a broader context, including challenges, opportunities, diversity, and sustainability
• Strategic partner working alongside the Finance Transformation Office and in collaboration with the Business Transformation Office, business stakeholders, Global Process Leaders, the Global Finance & Strategy team, and executive team for a collaborative and human-centered approach to drive the implementation and adoption of the change
• Oversight of cross-enterprise and cross-functional working groups
• Support implementation of people and culture initiatives to support the Finance Transformation strategy

Finance Operations:
• Solve complex finance business challenges by creating and delivering corporate culture programs
• Manage budget and resources to drive completion of initiatives
• Encourage a culture of innovation and enable a change mindset by focusing on adding value linked to strategy
• Manage the entire analytical process, become an expert on challenges and opportunities and recommend initiatives that make a measurable impact
• Take responsibility for business challenges and present insights in a compelling way that convinces stakeholders to act.
• Lead Oxford’s CPA pre-approved training office, including managing CPA candidates, markers, mentors, and partners of the organization (CPA Ontario, CPA Canada) and keeping the organization appraised of policies and programs.
• Develop trusting relationships across the organization – have a seat and voice at the table and lead and develop direct reports and team

To succeed in this role, you have:

Must have:
• Undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Engineering. CPA is strongly preferred
• 5+years of related work experience in finance operations or leading change in diverse and varying complexities
• Outstanding record of leadership and academic, extracurricular, and professional achievement
• Exceptional Problem-solver, Initiative taker, eager to break new ground
• Ability to communicate complex ideas effectively, both verbally and in writing
• Interpersonal agility, with the ability to influence multiple stakeholders at all levels
• Compelling storytelling to connect with stakeholders, influence individual change journeys and emphasize the need for change
• Demonstrated leadership in a team environment – empowering and creating opportunities for others
• Proven ability to multi-task, prioritize, re-prioritize, and think quickly on your feet
• Strong analytical skills, with experience with solving complex matters where analysis of issues, data, processes, and situations require integrated knowledge
• An interest in upskilling for a digital world and technology trends, an openness to learning new tools, and an innate desire to learn, grow and develop
An asset to have: :
• Knowledge of design thinking and systems thinking principles to solve user-centered challenges
• Understanding of change management methodologies, techniques, and frameworks
• Experience working in the commercial real estate industry
• Knowledge of accounting technology, including AI concepts, e.g., RPA, big data, machine learning
• Experience with transformation projects including Agile methodology
