Key functions of this role include providing on-going leadership, sales coaching and leadership and regional planning.

As the direct manager of a team of financial advisory professionals, consisting of Financial Planners, Insurance Specialists, Investment Advisors, Financial/Debt Counsellors and Branch Administrators the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for delivery of the sales targets and the risk management practices of the of the assigned locations.SALES LEADERSHIPContribute to the development and communication of the organization’s vision and mission.Champion new initiatives, business tools, processes and solutions to ensure adoption and operational effectiveness.Develop and maintain a coaching plan for financial advisory professionals.Contribute to new channel development and migration of clients to new digital channels.Provide input to leadership for budgeting, financial business plans and local marketing plans and budgets.Execute and support talent planning to promote diversity and embrace a diverse and inclusive workforceContribute to the development of key Client Segmentation strategies and organize resources effectively to deliver desired client experienceChampion and coach teams to provide a consultative client needs based approach to discovery, solution development and ongoing relationship management and overarching client experience.Reinforce established sales and client experience processes, identifying best practices and gaps, in order to create and sustain an environment that ensures consistent service to clients and prospective clientsEstablish a strong working relationship with the executive and leadership teams to share views on market opportunities, the working environment, potential changes affecting work, continuous improvement opportunities, and revisions to the planApply performance management system to all direct reports including establishing goals and objectives, assessing skill and knowledge gaps, allocating resources to achieve objectives and assessing personal effectiveness of the teams and individual team members.BUSINESS PLANNINGCoach, support and monitor employees to ensure successful delivery of client experience, relationship management and sales objectives through effective management of preventative and follow-up care and adherence to established service requirements.Ensure adherence to the formal practice management system including the development of monthly business plans and a monthly one on one coaching discipline that covers, business planning, business and relationship development, client experience and technical proficiencyDevelop and implement coaching practices throughout your area that ensures professionals are continually giving their business-critical thought to drive their proactivity against business and client goals.Travel to branches to support delivery of presentations, deepen partner relationships and develop and retain client relationshipsWork closely with executive and leadership teams to develop an annual business plan, establish strategies, activities and goals that address client growth and retention, business and partner (COI) developmentParticipate in/Lead annual, quarterly and monthly individual and team business planning sessionsParticipate in monthly individual coaching designed to evolve professional practices, ensure collaboration and personal growthLeverage Microsoft Dynamics CRM in the day to day oversight of advisory professionals for reporting, business development activities, business intelligence and KPI analytics.RISK MANAGEMENTEnsure that all advisory professionals adhere to and comply with their respective professional/industry fiduciary requirements and internal policies and proceduresMonitor licensing requirements for advisory professionalsMaintain a sound working knowledge regarding sales procedures, operational requirements and product featuresEnsure adherence to KYC and KYP processes by all advisory professionalsEDUCATION AND ACCREDITATIONBachelor’s degree or College diploma in Business Administration, Commerce, Economics, or a related fieldAND5+ years progressive experience in financial services5+ years minimum sales leadership/coaching management experience, or equivalent
· Canadian Securities Course (CSC) or Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) an asset
· Strong and current knowledge of advisory products and services
· Any of the following Certified Financial Planner (CFP) designation, Life License Qualification Program (LLQP) and provincial life insurance license (British Columbia).

Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) is an assetFrench/English Bilingualism an asset
